Before joining Vision Source® I served as Assistant Dean for Clinical Affairs at Northeastern State University College of Optometry. A graduate of Illinois State University and Pacific University College of Optometry, I served in the United States Air Force as Chief of Optometry at the USAF Hospital Kirtland for the New Mexico Regional Federal Medical Center. Following my service in the Air Force, I was the Clinic Director and Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Ophthalmology at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.

One of my favorites books is Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln by Doris Kearns Goodwin. Biographies and historical books have had a significant influence on my journey through life; so much can be learned from those who have walked the path before us.
