NEVANAC® (nepafenac ophthalmic suspension) 0.1% treats eye pain and inflammation resulting from cataract surgery.
Do not wear contact lenses while using NEVANAC® suspension. Patients should not touch the bottle tip to any surface to avoid the risk of contamination.
This product should not be taken by patients with a sensitivity or allergy to its ingredients. Safety and efficacy have not been determined in children under age 10. Caution should be used when administering this drug to pregnant or nursing women. This drug should not be used in late pregnancy. The most common side effects of NEVANAC® suspension include decreased visual acuity, a feeling that something is in the eye, increased eye pressure or a sticky sensation, as well as other effects. If you experience any of these symptoms contact your doctor. As with all NSAIDs, this drug may delay ocular healing and prolonged use may result in corneal problems.
