AZOPT® (brinzolamide ophthalmic suspension) 1% is used to lower intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
AZOPT® suspension should not be administered while wearing contact lenses. Patients should not touch the bottle tip to any surface to avoid the risk of contamination.
This product should not be taken by those with a sensitivity or allergy to its ingredients. Safety and efficacy have not been determined in children. Caution should be used when administering this drug to pregnant or nursing women. The most common side effects of AZOPT® suspension are blurred vision and bitter, sour or unusual taste.
